Jessica Simpson's sports star beau Eric Johnson chose November 11 to propose to the singer after a psychic singled out the number 11 as a significant figure in her future, according to U.S. reports. The blonde beauty announced her engagement to Johnson last weekend, after six months of dating.

The National Enquirer claims Johnson got down on bended knee at 11pm on the big day because he knew the date was important to Simpson. An insider says, "A numerologist told Jessica that the number 11 was going to be an important number in her future, and Eric knew it. So he waited until November 11 to pop the question."

"Eric knew that if he didn't propose that day, he would have had to wait until November 11 of next year!" Simpson was previously married to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey. He revealed his plans to wed longterm girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo just a week before Simpson's engagement news.
